Sunday Tours at Heritage House continue with music and fun!

Join the Irving Heritage Society for Sundays the Heritage House, 303 South O’Connor, on Sunday, November 2, from 3pm-5pm, for music and dancing performed on the front porch. The Dixie Grand Cloggers will be on hand to perform for us. Established in 1998, this clogging group is made up of 4 year olds to 70 year olds! They are clogging competition winners and will demonstrate a variety of routines including line dancing, duets, and show routines. Bring a chair, blanket, friends, and family for hot cocoa, marshmallows and treats. Croquet will be played on the lawn. Docent led Heritage House tours are offered free of charge at 3pm and 4pm.

The new yearbook/directory for the Heritage Society members is now available. If you did not get yours at our recent program, you may pick one up on Sunday at the Heritage House. Additional locations to get your new yearbook copy include Pat Cook's Clothes Quarters at 142 South Main Street, Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm or the Mustang Museum at 5221 North O'Connor at Williams Square, Wednesday-Saturday 11am-6pm. Note the Mustang Museum is now located in the East Tower of Williams Square and you need to enter Brune Way off of Las Colinas Blvd. to the East garage. Call 972-869-9047 for any other directions. The Heritage House was built in 1912 and is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. It was the home of the C.P. Schulze family, brother of Irving’s co-founder J.O. Schulze.
