IHS January 2015 Board Meeting

One thing for sure, the Irving Heritage Society board eats well with home cooked meals prepared for our board meetings! We are all asking for a dessert recipe from Jearlene Miller today!

A busy beginning of the year. The board welcomed two new members today. Sybil Novinski will serve as a liaison to the Museum Board for the Heritage Society so that we can be kept informed of the progress on the plans for a heritage museum. Marian Guthery, an Irving Arts Board member, will be our liaison to the IAB. Several of our Heritage Society members recently served as docents and volunteers during the Peruvian Gold exhibit.

Next up for the Heritage Society will be the annual Vintage Valentine Tea on February 8.
