Baylor 50th Anniversary Celebration Treemendous!

Irving Heritage Society members decorated the tree donated by the Heritage Society for the Baylor 50th anniversary celebration Treemendous! It looked fantastic! Titled Irving - Past and Present, it was covered with symbols of Irving's past and landmarks. There are several hand painted ornaments by HS member and artist Sigrid Canto. The tree skirt had past and present photos of places like the library, IISD, the hospital, etc. Certainly a very creative tree and was treasured by a lucky bidder at the gala event on Nov. 25th!

The project was chaired by Janice Carroll with vice-chair Lea Bailey and included committee members Kathy Howard, Sigrid Canto, Jo-Ann Bresowar, Mary Moorman, Diane Mannon, Carrie Stanford, Evelyn Moore, Stacey Martin, and Rosalie Jensen.
